Plus seeks to do business with suppliers

and their subcontractors who support our values as described below, comply with their respective laws in the countries in which their services are performed, follow established work place practices and comply with our Global Code of Conduct.

Legal and ethical business practices

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors must fully comply with all applicable local, state, federal, national and international laws, rules and regulations including, but not limited to, those relating to child labor, wages, labor, health and safety, and immigration. Plus suppliers and their subcontractors must be ethical in their business practices and deal with their employees in a legal, ethical and equitable manner.

Health and safety

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors must provide their employees with a safe and healthy working environment and provide appropriate training to prevent accidents and injury. Employers must fully comply with all applicable workplace conditions, safety and environmental laws and regulations.

Wages and benefits

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors understand wages are essential to meeting employees’ basic needs. Plus suppliers and subcontractors shall pay employees at least the minimum wage required by local law or the prevailing industry wage and shall provide legally mandated benefits.

Non-discrimination

Plus suppliers and subcontractors shall not subject any person to discrimination in employment, including hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination or retirement, gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, or social or ethnic origin.

Harassment or abuse

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors must treat their employees with respect and dignity. No employee shall be subject to physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.

Confidential information

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors must secure all private and confidential information in their possession, use it per our instructions and safeguard it from unapproved or unintended disclosure. This obligation continues after our business relationship ends.

Environment

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors will comply with all environmental rules, regulations and standards applicable to their operations.

Fair competition

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors must not engage in illegal cooperation with competitors including bid rigging, price fixing, market allocations or any other prohibited conduct that limits free and fair competition.

Child labor

Plus will not purchase products or services manufactured or performed by persons younger than 15 years of age, or younger than the age of completing compulsory education in the country services are performed where such age is higher than 15.

Forced labor

Plus will not purchase products or services from suppliers that use forced labor, whether in the form of prison labor, indentured labor or bonded labor, or otherwise, or permit their suppliers to do so.

Anti-corruption

Plus suppliers and their subcontractors must not, directly or through others, offer, promise, give or accept any form of payment or incentive to gain an improper business advantage. They must not engage in fraud, bribery, money laundering, embezzlement, extortion or any other form of corruption.

Gift policy

In accordance with Plus’s Employee Handbook Standard of Conduct, employees shall not accept gifts (including tickets to sporting or other entertainment events) or cash gifts from individuals and companies doing business or seeking to do business with Plus.

Suppliers are requested to adhere to this policy with the following exceptions:

  • Suppliers may provide gifts that are considered of small or token value.
  • Employees may accept gifts if Plus determines that the gift furthers a company business purpose. These situations must be presented to and pre-approved by Plus Global Supply Chain before the gift is offered to any Plus employees.
  • Employees may receive an occasional meal or similar hospitality that is neither so frequent nor so excessive as to raise any question of impropriety and is not preconditioned on Plus doing business with the donor.

Reporting questionable behavior

If you wish to report questionable behavior or a possible violation of the Global Supplier Code of Conduct, you are encouraged to work with your Plus Relocation Services primary contact in resolving your concern.
